What Causes Epileptic Seizures?

Question: Hi Im XXXX. I had 3 violent seizures after being discharged from the ER wednesday night I do have epilepsy they did however give me a shot of byndryal before i left (idk why) i had 2 seizures about an hour after i was home an the other one in the ER i i was seeing if it could be the main problem because my blood work was perfect. I need to know before my next hospital trip as well for my allergy band if bynadryl does do this & i also still feel very weird. I guess you can say the seizure "aura" idk my head just since i been home i feel i havent felt normal or myself it is very strange. Any advice an answers with the bynadryl

Unfortunately Epileptic seizure can be provoked from Benadryl, so you have to discuss with your doctor the possibility of changing it.
All adrenergic substances can provoke seizure.
You should avoid any other drinks or food with contain caffeine or energy drinks.

Ok thank you so much doctor because I was talking to other doctors telling me it CANT provoke epeleptic seizures when i looked it up myself & im 18 & seen it says it can I just always love doctors opinions.. Because they tried having me take Bynadryl at home. Thank you for letting me know I am going to add this to my allergy charts ASAP

Ok dr I see my nuerologist THIS thursday. Just by everything I have told you an asked do you have any recomended things I should ask/tell him? Any test you think he should conduct (30min eeg/24hr eeg?) measuring out all possibilities? Just to make sure everything is fine & there is no activity?
