What Causes Erection Of Penis During Sleep?

Question: for approximately 2wks only during the night, including this past night at around 4am, i've experienced an erection and my penis burns or hurt to touch on one side only. it usually wakes me up from my sleep. i do not have to go to the bathroom and in the morning when i do go to the bathroom i havent experienced any pain urinating. i feel no discomfort during the day. my penis isnt sensitive during the touch. im drinking water and my urine is clear, except when i take my vitamins which, include, protein, candida clense, lysine, red marine algae and male supplement. im 45 yrs of age and well conditioned.

Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain in Penis on erection of your penis during sleep .

Erection of Penis during sleep is a common symptoms and suggestive of sign of normal erectile function of man .

The pain that you get on erection is mostly due to increased blood flow to penis during erection which gets congested and remains in stage of erection for long time due to not being ejaculated .

Since you do not have any other symptoms you need not worry at all.

Ensure to empty your bladder before going to bed as distention of bladder triggers erection .
