Brief Answer:
It may be due to high blood sugar levels.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your question.

Your symptoms may be most likely due to Dehydration.
Which may be due to-
- Uncontrolled high blood sugars leading to osmotic symptoms.
Body cannot utilize excess sugar in blood due to inadequate insulin leading to tiredness (lack of energy). So sugar get further accumulated in blood body tries to flush it out out of body through urine along with sugar water and electrolyte get wasted from body leading to abnormal thirst.
- Kidney problem.

In such a case I may suggest following -
- Immediate physical examination.
- Blood sugar testing.
- Renal function test.
- Urine examination including urine ketones.
- If required blood gas analysis.

Hope this helps you.
