Question : Hi,
I have a son of 8 months old. 2 days back I got him pneumonia vaccination. he has been cranky from past 2 days and cries. Yesterday night, after having dinner (cerelac- wheat honey flavor), he did vomit the entire thing. his body temperature is warmer side.
Could you please let me know, if there is any issue in his health?

It is not unusual for children to become cranky or have fever after vaccination and I would not really consider it to be a health concern. So, I would not really get worried if the child has the mentioned findings. Observe the child for one or two days and the child is expected to be fine. However, if the child becomes lethargic or if the vomiting continues, you would have to rush him to a hospital without delay. Meanwhile, give tepid sponging and paracetamol to bring down the temperature, and ORS (oral rehydration solution) to prevent dehydration from developing.
