Brief Answer:
Dicyclomine (prescription medicine) can be given

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Fever with diarrhea is frequently caused due to certain viral infections. However, such infections are unlikely to be transmitted by mosquitos. There are other viral diseases that are transmitted by mosquitos.

About ailing her symptoms, the mainstay of treatment would be ORS. Antispasmodics like dicyclomine (prescription medicine) can be given as needed. I do not understand when you say diarrhea and then say that she has a hard time pooping. Please clarify.

In any case, you would have to be patient. The symptoms will resolve in 2-5 days on its own. Giving her curd or yogurt should be helpful as it contains plenty of beneficial bacteria. They will take care of the bloating.

Feel free to write back to me.
