Brief Answer:
Not a problem sir, her water could have broken

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I am suspecting a possible rupture of membranes (i.e. in simple terms her water could have broken) sir. But that can only be confirmed with the help of an examination, which can be done by a doctor or even a nurse who will be on duty at all times even through the night.

Although I would like to add that even if your wife's membranes have ruptured it will take several hours until she is ready to deliver. But at her gestational age and with the provided description it does indeed sound like her water has broken sir. Please report to a hospital for further confirmation or ruling out, as it is always best to be safe than sorry.

I hope and wish all goes well and your wife has a safe trip to the hospital and a safe delivery. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
