What Causes Frequent Heart Palpitations In An Young Adult?

I have posted a few times about my palipiations and they are still coming and going. Im trying to trace a trigger for them and Im thinking it might be releatsed to my stomach. Could that be right? If i ever have a bad stomach they seem to be worse.
Ive notice as well that when i am sat down i get them constantly but as soon as i stand up they dissapear... What could be causing them to be there in some positions and not in others? My latest echo results are on my profile and i believe my heart is structurally ok?
Any Advice?

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome
Your concern is appreciated
Palpitation can be due to over stimulation of parasympathetic nervous system it controls and regulate internal organs which in turn can be due to stress and anxiety, gastrointestinal distress such as indigestion acid reflux etc muscular imbalances which irritate vagus nerve
Electrolyte deficiency can also lead to palpitations calcium chloride potassium sodium etc , an overactive thyroid is also the reason if you are using thyroxin for hypthyroidism then its dise might need adjusting.
Over activation of sympathetic nervous system in conditions like panic disorder, hypoglycemia etc. Hyperdynamic circulation like in anemia and pregnacy can also cause it. Most importantly a cardiac dysrhythmia like supraventricular tachycardia AF ventricular tachycardia etc. If palpitations are assiated with syncope and dizziness then its more serious. You are advised to do an ECG for that preferentially when you get symptoms or 24 hour holter monitering can also be done. Serum electrolytes, TFTs, Hb should also be done. Psychiatric consultation can also be done if there is element of anxiety.
Hope it helps
Thanks
