What Causes Fullness In The Abdomen After Eating?

Question: Hi, I felt fine yesterday, but right after dinner, my stomach felt more than just full. I started throwing up about 2 hours later and that continued every so often another 4 times or more until I had nothing left in my system and was just dry heaving. I also had diarrhea multiple times as well. I feel better now, just exhausted, but not like I'm going to throw up again. I do still have diarrhea.
Brief Answer:
Probably food intoxication!
Detailed Answer:
HI and thanks for contacting us at healthcare magic.
I have reviewed your information fully and this is suggestive of a possible food intoxication. As the diarrhea and vomiting stops, you would be a lot better. There is no need for any specific treatment. Drink much water to avoid getting dehydrated and that’s the best thing to do.
In all, food intoxication. Increased fluid intake is encouraged and there is no need for specific medical evaluation at this time.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Ok thank you. Do you think it could possibly be a stomach bug or the flu? I have twin infants and im worried about getting them sick.
Brief Answer:
Probably a bug!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
this is unlikely to be a flu seen how soon it started after eating the meal. a flu is very unlikely in this case.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if anything bothersome arises.
