Question : I sneezed, causing a hot groin pain, later diagnosed as an inguinal hernia ( small). In XXXX XXXXXXX the waiting time for surgery is 6 mo. On my Doctors rec. I bought a truss. Pain has gone. I have had 8 weeks of no discomfort. Light gym workout - no problems. I am 85 and play doubles tennis 2X/week.

Should I return to tennis with my truss on. I would like to.

Patients with inguinal hernia should generally avoid weight lifting and other physical activities are allowed so tennis should not be problematic if you don't force yourself too much. Wish you god health. Regards
