Brief Answer:
Clincial examination and investigations requried

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query. Hardening of veins can occur due to a condition called sclerosis but it is really hard to comment without a proper clinical examination. Visiting a doctor should be helpful for the same. However, if apprehensive, I feel that you need to get a Doppler study (arterial and venous) of your penis done. That will show if the blood flow to the penis (the filling up or engorgement) is proper. This needs proper clinical correlation by a doctor who can examine you.

Hope that helps.
