Question : I have an stress done today, not the one with the treadmill but with the injection that made me hard to breath. I wonder why they did not do just a treadmill test but rather with the injection. Also I was booked for a echo this friday. I have one done last dec 2014. is it a little too early to have the echo done again. Please advice.

Brief Answer:
Treadmill with injection is more informative

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,

From the information you gave I concluded that nuclear stress test was done. It is more informative than simple stress test with treadmill.
About your echo, I think your doctor wants to feel more confident and he/she has prescribed an echo follow-up. Anyway it is not early, as 3 months have passed.

Hope I could help you

Wishing you good health
