Brief Answer: Need an otorhinolaryngologist Detailed Answer: Thank you for asking! Noisy pressure in your left ear indicates most likely a tinnitus and it has thousands of etiologies as the cause from simple medicines use over the counter like NSAIDs, aspirins to diuretics and many others in the long list mentioned by American tinnitus association..Depression and anxiety issues also cause that. You need an expert otorhinolaryngologist. he will run some labs and do a complete physical examination and take a detailed history and then all the dots will be connected for this hearing troubles and then treat you accordingly as per the cause. Don't worry there are many options to select from like electro stimulation, biofeedback, Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS),neuromonics, counseling, support groups, medicines like Sedative hypnotics and SSRIs and SNRIs and some retraining and hearing aids measures. In nutshell all you need is to pay a visit to an otorhinolaryngologist nearby and get yourself assessed. Just prednisone and antihistamines are not enough to help the ear.It needs a complete clinical correlation. I hope it helps. Dont forget to close the discussion please. May the odds be ever in your favour. S Khan
