What Causes Holes With Foul Disharge Above The Buttocks?

default
Posted on Wed, 2 Jul 2014
Question: My sister and I have the same oddity. We both have discovered we have 3 small holds starting at the top of our buttocks crack and spaced about 1/4 of an inch apart. The largest hole could fit a round toothpick in it. And from time to time it brings on the most incredible RIGHT NOW ITCH! And then drains with the consistance of runny yougrt. In a XXXXXXX color with the most putrid stench! I try to drain it daily as I shower. I can feel a small pocket inside about the size of my pinky tip ( 1st joint ). Once while draining it, it flipped over my tail bone and LITERALLY dropped me to my knees in the shower! My sister's Doctor told her it was her Anel Gland. And that her's drains outside her body. Is this possible? Do we indeed have anel glands like animals? What the heck is this? Do you have any idea? Please help? Embrassed.

Brief Answer:
Please, seek medical consultation!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. I understand how frustrating and embarrassing this must have been for you.

From the description of this abnormality, there seems to have been an incomplete and septate closure of the body folds at the level of the sacral area. This has created tiny holes around this area. Tiny hoes would not be able to drain freely and would rather serve as pockets that would collect dirt and death tissues. This creates a perfect milieu for germs to multiply in and cause infections. I am therefore not surprised when you mention that a putrid content and offensive odor is related to this. This in not related to the anal glands!

If these openings were without symptoms, they could have been left alone. However, because of the symptoms you have reported, they need to be excised and closed. For this, I will suggest you get evaluated by your primary care physician who would initiate treatment and probably refer you to a general surgeon for excision and closure. This would be a minor procedure that may not even require inpatient hospitalization.

In all, the tiny and deep nature makes it a good side for collection of dirt and death tissues that favour infection. Because of repeated infections, excision and drainage should be considered. Talk to your doctor about this.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and please feel free to ask for more information and clarifications should need be.
