Brief Answer:
You need further investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX

Your findings suggests increased bilirubin level and decreased globulin in blood.
Increased bilirubin level may be due to many reasons like hepatitis, autoimmune causes, drug toxicity etc.
If other liver parameters like SGPT,GGT etc are normal then conditions like gilbert's disease etc should be ruled out.
Decreased globulin level may be due to renal cause, hepatic dysfunction, acute hemolytic anemia etc.

Your doctor has rightly advised for further investigations.
Firstly Ultrasound of abdomen should be done.
Besides this routine hemogram, random blood sugar, urine RE/ME,renal function test, lipid profile, viral markers should be done.
CT scan of abdomen can be done if needed.

Proper treatment depend upon findings.

Hope I have answered your question.
