Question : For the 3rd time since September I have experienced a small vaginal bleed 12 yrs post hysterectomy.The bleeds have occurred the same day of each month.

Hello

I understand your concerns about bleeding.

Bleeding after hysterectomy csn be seen only if it was partial hysterectomy and not total hysterectomy.

Partial hysterectomy means removing uterus leaving behind cervix. This cervix starts bleeding regularly like menstrual period each month.

Please let me know if hysterectomy was partial or total.
