Brief Answer:
yes

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) By 6 weeks there should have been a a fetal pole along with cardiac activity.

2) Since only a sac is seen the probability of fetal pole and heart beat appearing after this is very less and hence your doctor has said less chances.

3) You can wait for 10 days and repeat a scan. Meanwhile continue medicines given by doctor.

4) If scan has same findings after 10 days, it is better to stop medicines and let it abort.

5) This generally happens because of possible chromosomal abnormality and may not repeat again.

Let me know if you have any more doubts.

Brief Answer:
yes

Detailed Answer:
Hi

It is very early gestation. If rescan is negative you may not need tablets also. Wait for 2 weeks and you might abort yourself without tablets.

If not tablets are more than enough. Get prescribed from your doctor after next scan if negative.

D&C not required.

I pray the god to bless you.
