Question : i am waiting for the answer i have already given.I am suffering from white patches for two years and now I applied melanocyl solution on the effected areas and exposed to the sun and after 3 4 days it started to ittch and color turned to dark red blissters also appeard then completely stopped myself going outside and take sun bath now slowly the skin became dry and coming out.I am feeling very scared and want the solution to this problem.Please help ...

Stop Melanocyl soln.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

I understand your concern.

You seem to have allergic reaction to Melanocyl soln.

I advise you to stop applying this drug.

Skin drying and peeling are caused by this drug adverse reaction.

Topical steroids and Vitamin D analogues are the main stay for this condition.

Calcipotriene Ointment -Apply this to affected skin twice a day.

Clobetasol Ointment-Apply this to the affected areas twice a day.

These drugs will cause excellent resolution of symptoms.

Please note these drugs have to be taken only under medical surveillance.
