What Causes Itching And Tingling Sensation On Penis In A Sexually Active Person?

default
Posted on Tue, 7 Apr 2015
Question: I started having sex with a new partner in July 2014. Soon after I started having a tingling sensation, and itchy feeling on my penis from time to time. It would last for a week or two and go away. The sensation comes back once in a while. The tingling itchy sensation came back about a week ago with an added concern. Last night I started to experience back pain. I read that back pain is a symptom of herpes. Please help with advice? Could this be herpes?

It is not clear about partner history of herpes, or any STDs or infections.
It can be due to neuropathies or vitamin deficiencies. If herpes comes negative you can consult physician for examination and needful.
