Brief Answer:
take antihistamine. will reduce itching

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Looking at the medical history and query, my opinion is as follows:

1. I see that limb elevation has been advised. Do you have any swelling of leg or prominent veins?

2. Is the skin appearing dry? Or if you scratch on it, can you See scratch marks. Then you need to continue moisturizer.

3. If you can send a picture of your leg, I can be more specific.

4. At nights, take antihistamine like cetrizine, it will reduce itching.

As it is limited to a leg, I do not suspect any other problems.

Hope it helps. Do take the treatment.
Any further queries, happy to help again.

Sir,
As advised please find attached the photgraphs of both legs. The itching increases when some cloth come in contact with the itching area.

Brief Answer:
looks allergic

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.

Looking at the skin lesions, it appears to be possibly secondary to allergy or pruritic dermatoses.
You require to get a test for eosinophil along with total hemogram done to check for allergy or any infection. See you anything worsens it.

You are on quite potent medication. Continue the same.
At night you can take Atarax 25 mg. Also take multivitamin supplements like becosules to improve nutritional healing and faster lesson healing.
Hope it helps.
Take care.
Any further queries, happy to help again

Please let me know that the blood samples for these tests are to be given 12 hour fasting or these are normal tests. Due to my nasal blockage problems I am using at Bedtime Otrivin since last more than two years. Also suffering from High Blood Pressure since 1986. no fasting necessary

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.

The test I said is a complete hemogram.

No fasting necessary. Any day, anytime. You can get it done. Next time, do let me know the chronic conditions you are suffering from.
It will help in a overall diagnosis.

Also let me know about these:
Do you have limb swelling?
It looks like prominent veins on legs. Are they?
Is it painful or only itching?

Any further queries, happy to help again.
