Most likely is still thrush
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
Sometimes women get vaginal candidiasis that is somewhat resistant to the quick typical treatments. So we use different regimens of longer treatment with same or different anticandida medications.
I am thinking this may still be a yeast infection given that you said the treatment helps temporarily.
One treatment that can be especially effective for yeast infections that are somewhat resistant are Boric Acid vaginal suppositories. These are 600 mg of boric acid in a gelatin capsule. They are used as 1 capsule in the vagina at bedtime for 2 weeks.
If this does not work, I recommend you go in to see your doctor and have the discharge swabbed and sent for culture to know decisively what is going on.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification.
