Brief Answer:
Repeat ultrasound after 10 days

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The visibility of fetal node at 5 weeks 3 days is a good sign.
Moreover, fetal cardiac activity is visible by 6 weeks.
Therefore, I will suggest you to get a repeat ultrasound after 7-10 days to confirm the fetal viability.
There is nothing to worry at this stage and the ultrasound is normal according to the gestational age.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Hi Doctor, thank you for your information. So even though that by caculating my period i suppose to be 5 weeks 7 days but according to the sac age they count me as 5 weeks 3 days is not a concern to me at this stage, based on your opnion? And do you think based on my current report the chance of me having a good pregnancy is high? Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, there can be a difference of up to 7 days between the gestational age calculated by ultrasound and by last menstrual period. Moreover, the ultrasound is appropriate according to the gestational age.
The chances of successful pregnancy are high.

Hi Doctor, thanks for that. I have one more question. From day 14, i was issued with the medication prednisone 5mg daily to prevent natural killer cells prevent embryo to implant. My specalist doctor said i should be able to stop this by week 6. Then she moved away from my city. I don't get to see another specalist until week 10. I was adviced by online source that who taking this medication should stop taking this graduately instead of in one go. Hence without further advice from my own doctor i started to reduce this drug from 5mg daily to 5mg every second day from 7 weeks and a half to now, which is 8 weeks. I have seen the heart beat yesterday on my second scan already. Just wondering if i can completely stop this medication from now on without harm the baby. I dont know the reason of gradually stop it. is that because it could harm the mother or the baby? Also i notice there are bad impact if taking long term, so i'm concern for my dose took from day 14 to now, is that already bad for the baby's decelopment. I know people taking much higher dose than me but i'm still concerned. Thank you doctor.

Brief Answer:
Not needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, role of prednisone is not very clear in implantation.
However, at such low dose, it do not affects fetus.
You should stop it gradually, as it is not needed in your case.
