Brief Answer:
Surgery is better and easier way to remove it.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand that you have pain as well as bleeding with left ovarian cyst.

Size of cyst you have mentioned 3.7 X 2.5 cm is large one and needs to be removed by surgery. Solid components are a matter of concern.

This can successfully be removed in a single surgery. This is unlikely to be resolved by medicines since there are solid components in it.

I would also like to do blood tests to rule out cancer. Blood tests required would be CEA, CA 125 and CA 19-9. These blood tests would rule out cancer possibilities.

I dont want you to get worried by hearing about cancer. These are precautionary tests before surgery looking at type of ovarian cyst and your age.
