Question : MY CALVES ARE CONSTANTLY SWOLLEN WITH TIGHT SKIN. i AM 82 YO ; HAVE HAD HYPERTENSION FOR 30 YEARS, (CURRENTLY 130/80) ARTERIAL STENT IMPLANTED 12-13 Y AGO. BEEN DEALING WITH p.d. FOR 12 YRS. STILL XXXXXXX W/CANE. WHAT ARE MY RISK FACTORS?

Most likely you have worsening of chronic legs ischemia due to atherosclerosis. Blood flow to your legs is inefficient so your muscles (calf muscles) are in pain.
