Brief Answer: Which antidepressant have you been taking? Detailed Answer: Hi Thanks for using healthcare magic. I, Dr Abhishek Kapoor, would help you in this query. Antidepressants help in improving concentration and decrease anxiety, but sometime in initial few days, patients get some anxiety symptoms as side effects like headache, nausea, palpitation etc. That stays only for few days and with time, such side effects go away. There is no interaction between antidepressant and cold drink. May be you are getting some psychological benefit with limca, but otherwise, there is no interaction between the two. Just tell me the antidepressant and its dosage, which you have been taking and how long you have been on antidepressant?, so i could give you further advise. Regards Dr. Abhishek Kapoor Psychiatrist

Brief Answer: I would sugget paroxetine in your case. Detailed Answer: HI Serlift consists of sertraline and it is a non sedative antidepressant. It hardly causes sedation and control anxiety symptoms very well. If you are getting sedative effect with sertraline, then i would suggest paroxetine in your case. It is very good antidepressant and help to control anxiety symptoms in better way. Better to consult a psychiatrist to get it prescribed. It is not available over the counter. You can also try relaxation exercise like JPMR that would help to control anxiety symptoms. In case, you need further help, you can ask. Regards Dr. Abhishek Kapoor Psychiatrist
