What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain?
Question: My girl friend has been experiencing a stiff pain in her lower left abdominal area. Her breasts also feel tender. She is a week off of her period. She is also on birth control. We have had sex about three times the past week. She felt these symptoms about five days after her period and have felt them for the past three days now. Is this an early sign of pregnancy? Also what are some other possibilities of what these symptoms can be?

lower abdominal pain in the safe period of cycle in your gf case doesn't indicate pregnancy.Instead it points more towards the injury sustained during intercourse or sexual contact which you both had, possibly due to deeper penetration or different sexual positions.
secondly as she is already on OC pills, pregnancy chances are again minimal. Also , the breast pain is not because of pregnancy but probably because of the fondling of the same during the act of foreplay between you both.
she can take , TAB MEFENAMIC ACID 500mg twice a day for 3 days. this should help relieve the pain and she may use hot fomentation over lower abdomen thrice a day which should also help.
