Question : I had a complete hysterectomy several years ago and I have had 2 occassions recently of a blood spot about the size of a quarter on my underware. There is no blood in my urine and no other spotting. I feel fine. I thought it might be a polop. What is your opinion?

Brief Answer:
Several causes

Detailed Answer:
hi and welcome. the exact cause of blood may be anywhere in genital, urologic or colon system. it is not uncommon that rest of vagina bleeds due to vaginitis, vaginal polyp or injury. also urethritis, urinary stones as well.and third, rectal polyps or hemorrhoids. So you should check all these but if there is such rare bleeding then there is no need to worry.
