How Long Does Urethritis Symptoms Last After Taking Antibiotics?
Hello. I was diagnosed with urethritis about a week ago and have been having symptoms for 12 days now. do you know how long symptoms should last with antibiotics and what the chances of this being a correct diagnosis are, if my only symptom is the constant, unceasing urge to urinate?

Hi,
Usually with antibiotic course symptoms should be resolved in week.
You have symptoms since two week, so further work up needed in form of urine culture report.
USG pelvis scan also advisable.
According to the urine culture report, specific antibiotic prescribed.
