Question: I had duphaston twice a day and then stopped ...I still did not get my periods ...what are the chances I am pregnant

So my cycles are not regular . I used Ovaa Shield last month and then after the strip getting over , i did not get my periods .

Then i did a self preg test and it came negative.. i went to my gynac and she said have duphaston and do preg test again ... it came negative but even after the duphaston , i did not get my periods

In May when i was on Ovaa Shield, the intercourse was as per 12th day onwards every alternate day till 20th day

Last period date is 28th of April.

In the absence of pregnancy, if you did ovulate with Ovashield, you would have had a period two weeks later even without using Duphaston. The fact that this did not happen points to the possibility that you did not perhaps ovulate at all.

I mentioned in the absence of pregnancy since it seems unlikely. Repeated negative tests for pregnancy rule out conception. Yet, I would ask you to get a trans-vaginal sonogram to clarify the situation. Assessment of serum beta-hCG titres gives conclusive evidence to confirm/exclude pregnancy.

If pregnancy is excluded, I would suggest thorough evaluation with the standard protocol of investigations before planning further management as this helps in faster and better results without unnecessary medication. You can contact an expert who treats infertility to streamline tests.
