Question : I have colitis. Every time I eat or drink anything it is a series of excruciating pains. I feel like I need to vomit, but had to force myself to do so yesterday. I am dizzy, still have pain when breathing and after eating and drinking or standing and walking. Should I go back to the ER?

Brief Answer:
Visit the ER

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Your present symptoms appear to be due to gastritis completely different from colitis. I suggest you to visit the ER for complete evaluation and management.

Meanwhile do avoid solid and spicy food for few hours, as it can provide some relief.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.

Regards,
