Question : Hello. I woke up this morning and have this strange numbness on the right side of my body. Kinda like when your foot is asleep. I'm a 60 year old woman I'm not that active. Just running errands and cooking for my family. I'm hoping I just slept wrong but it's still just feels strange.

                                    Brief Answer:
Neurological disorders to exclude first.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for asking HealthcareMagic.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
It could be just an issue after sleeping in wrong position, but, conditions such transient ischemic attack should be considered and excluded first.
Getting evaluated by your primary care Doctor clinically is the first step in such evaluation.
If doubts about neurological disorders raised after this medical examination, further testing such as brain MRI may be necessary.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
