Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
The symptoms are suggestive of gastritis ( an inflammation of the stomach) and esophagitis ( an inflammation of the food pipe). Do you normally drink milk or you drank it to get better from the symptoms?
Milk or Lactose intolerance can be a cause of your gassy feeling. It may even cause diarrhea.

I had some cereal with fat free milk late last night. I don't usually have a problem with milk. I was just thinking that the milk might have made me gassy. Just wanted to be sure that the pain was'nt heart related. I had an EKG done during my physical a couple of weeks ago and Doctor said it was good.

Detailed Answer:
It's less likely to be from the heart as it was not associated with exercise, there's no sweating or breathing difficulty. However if you are not better with antacids and PPI or if you find the pain getting worse when you move around or there's sweating, radiation of the pain to the arms or back, it would be advisable to visit the ER, have another EKG and Troponin ( blood test ) done.
Take care,

I was a little nervous so some sweating due to that, but once I calmed down was better. There was no need to take antacids. What is PPI? Was breathing fine.

Brief Answer:
Proton Pump Inhibitor

Detailed Answer:
PPI stands for Proton Pump Inhibitor. It is a group of medicines that decrease the production of acid in the stomach and very effective . Omeprazole is a commonly prescribed PPI.
As I understand your symptoms were due to stress and am happy that you are better.
Best wishes,
