Question: About 2 weeks ago my husband has pain when urinating and felt he couldn't empty his bladder and at the same time said when he would defecate it looked like semen would come out alittle (he was also constipated at the time) he treated it as a uti which he has never had before and a few days ago we had sex and I have had vaginal irritation since, almost a sort of itching and burning, similar to what a yeast infection feels like in the early stages. My concern is that my husband may have or had a std?

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your husband has burning urination and you developed itching in vagina and burning urination ,

The discharge that he has is mucus secreted by urethral mucosa as a result of inflammation of urethra (Urethritis).

In view of both of you having the symptoms it is most likely that it was transmitted to you from him during intercourse and possibility of he having STD can not be rule out .

Please ask him to et following basic test done to confirm the diagnosis
1) Urine Routine and urine culture .
2) Swab test and culture of urethral discharge .

Both of you need to take appropriate antibiotic like Althrocin twice daily .

Further treatment will dpend upon the result of these tests .
