Brief Answer:
Possibility of nerve compression

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Pain in the back area along with radiation of pain to leg and hip suggest possibility of nerve compression due to prolapse intervertebral disc. I hope there are no urinary complaints.

I would suggest you the following
1. Absolute bed rest
2. Hot water fomentation : local application of hot water fomentation either by using hot water bag or napkin soaked in hot water
3. Analgesic+muscle relaxant: Analgesic like Diclofenac and muscle relaxant like Chlorzoxazone will provide the much needed relief.

If the pain persists or there is weakness in the leg then I would suggest you to consult a spine Surgeon.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care
