Question : I have had a pain in my right breast since October 2013. When I first had the pain I contacted my gyn. and had another mammogram and an ultrasound. Everything was fine. I still have the pain. What can it be?
Brief Answer:
could be fibroadenosis
Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic .
It could be fibroadenosis. This occurs due to hormonal imbalance. In this pain will be there on and off. Usually it won't be detected in mammography and ultrasound sometimes.
I suggest you to consult a surgeon and get examined and diagnosed. So that further treatment may be started.
Usually breast cancer will not cause pain. So don't worry unless you develop some lump/mass in breast.
Hope I have answered your query . If any further queries are there I would love to help.
