Brief Answer: It is normal and not to be worried about. Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you get pain in glans penis when your penis gets erected before sleep. During erection blood flow to the penis increases 20 times more than normal blood flow resulting into congestion of entire penis and urethra. This inflammed and congested pain gives rise to pain in glans penis which goes away once the penis becomes flaccid. Please do not worry this is a normal phenomenon and nothing to be worried about . It is not going to affect your sexual life in future. Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you Thanks and Regards. Dr.Patil.

sir. really thanks for the reply. i feared that it may have internal injuries. But sir, this burning sensation is occurring in first time.. Last night i can't even sleep that much irritating.., later i drank plenty of water. Sir do i need to take any medicine..? Will it be painful during sexual intercourse in future ? Earlier i used to masturbate 4 or 5 times in a week, but these days i masturbate once in a month . I never had this problem on earlier days when i masturbate frequently. Hence this was my serious concern...

Brief Answer: Get urine examined and take antibiotics for a week Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for follow up. Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to. Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexine along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report. Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician. Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria. Thanks and Regards. Dr.Patil.
