Question: For some months I have had pain in my right side near my ribs but it is not muscular- it seems to come from the inside. What can I do to find out what it is?

The pain in the chest wall on the right side can be related to the muscles or the lungs. Mild inflammation of the pleura can also cause such a pain.
This needs a direct examination and an MRI scan to detect any pathology in the area. You can take a mild pain killer till then and see if it helps.
