
What Causes Pain In The Heel And Arch While Walking?

Question : Hi Doctor, Sometimes I feel pain in my heel and arch while walking. I have noticed it for past one month. I feel pain only while walking and not while sitting or lying. Please advise what shall I do and what could be the probable cause of it. Thanks.

Pain in the arch and heel is a common presentation seen in people with Vitamin d or Calcium deficiency.
I would suggest you to get your Vitamin D levels checked, if deficient taking supplements would surely solve the problem.
I believe pain killers would not help you much here but you can still apply pain killer gels like Diclofenac gel.
