What Causes Painful Frequent Urination With Blood Upon Pressure Post Prostate Surgery?
Question: I done my prostat surgery 7 day ago still Ido pee every 15 mint which is painfull and bloody with lot of pressiure

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone TURP surgery for enlarged prostate a week ago and now have problem of frequent urination ,bleeding etc .
During surgery of TURP Urologist resects the prostate that results in to creating a raw area at the site of resection .This arw area causes irritation giving rise to frequent urination and occasional bleeding .
Normally it takes 3 weeks to heal up this raw area till then you are bound to get these symptoms which will definitely go away gradually .
Drink more water and take appropriate antibiotics advised by your Urologist .
You may take Tab Oxybutinine twice daily .to reduce the frequency of urination .
With held heart medication especially blood thinners like Aspirin for couple of days as it may cause more bleeding .
