Question : I am having sudden painful burning spasms in my left foot and leg only when I sleep. Could this be my ms? Or is this separate from the ms. I'm confused about if I should call my neurology between visits.

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
This movement can be focal myoclonic jerks or dystonia which can be due to brain or spinal lesions secondary to multiple sclerosis.
Less possibility of restless leg syndrome.
You should consult your treating neurologist for evaluation and treatment.
Rest medications for multiple sclerosis are OK.
