Question : Hi ,
My baby is 22 month old he is having fever from last 6 days , its started with cold i am giving Sinarest AD , and babygecic ,usually fever comes in morning and evening
From today he is having 4 toilet , it looks like cough is coming in toilet , can you please suggest what should i do

I have gone through the description. Most often such manifestations occurring due to a viral infection. In such a case, I would suggest taking paracetamol or acetaminophen as and when required (at minimum interval of 4 hours between doses). I would suggest you to use babygesic only if the fever is not relieved with paracetamol or acetaminophen. About the cough, I would suggest steam inhalation. Sit with the child on your lap and place the source of steam before you. The water vapor will be in the air and the child will automatically breathe it in. It will reach deep inside and would help in diluting the cough and would help in normalizing the situation.
Unless the child is lethargic, you need not worry. Be patient, the symptoms should soon subside.
