Question : Hello Dr. Schubert,

Thank you for following up on my medical issue. After almost two weeks I was still in a lot of pain and decided to go to my primary doctor. He confirmed that I pulled a muscle. He gave me a prescription for Methylprednisolone 4MG Dospak 21's to take first and a prescription for Meloxicam 15mgs to take once a day for 30 days. So after 4 weeks I still have pain, but it's not all the time and it's not too severe.

Brief Answer:
Continue to take and complete your medication as directed

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me about your case. I am glad to hear that you are doing better. Muscle pulls and strains of the chest do take considerable amount of time to heal. I recommend you do as your primary care doctor recommend and take your medication as directed. This will just take time and you should fee better eventually.
