Question: For the last five days I keep smelling a vinegary/onion like odor and its driving me nuts. I smell it at all times. am I expelling this odor?

Maxillary sinusitis, tonsillitis and atrophic rhinitis needs to be looked for. ENT exam should be done.
Olfactory nerve damage can also be responsible. The infective cause should be treated promptly if present with antibiotics.
