What Causes Presence Of Albumin In Urine?
Question: I was having fever and throat infection.. Was consuming antibiotic and paracetamol tablets.. When urine was checked it showed 3+ albumin content.. I am 34 m.. What should I do.. Any serious problem

First thing is you should not interpret or cause anxiety to the urine results.
The job is for the doctor to decide if you have serious issue that led to these results.
Simple putting an antibiotic can cause the kidney to lose some albumin in the urine so the new urine result could be medication use.
You take care of yourself and not the report. I hope the antibiotic and paracetmol were prescribed by doctor and not self medication.
Besides gargle with salt water helps in clearing throat infection easily.

If you are young and do not have any existing diseases like diabetes, BP, Gastritis your further tests should come clean.
To test the kidney function sample Urine albumin/creatinine ratio is also better. FBS and HbA1c is for diabetes.
