Brief Answer:
precautions advised

Detailed Answer:
Yes dear it is a simple blood test so better to get it done so that we are relieved that we need to just treat the boils and there is no underlying problem.
If everything is normal then take care of the following points
- always keep your skin on dry side and thus avoid applying moisturizers and oil based products on body
- avoid scratching the lesions in case you do
- apply antibiotic cream thrice a day on the lesion on the day of beginning of the lesion.
- in case there are more than 5 lesions then you need to take oral antibiotic also.
In my opinion visit a dermatologist at least once on day you have multiple lesions and get a prescription of antibiotic which can also be used in future.
These boils will stop after a couple of years most probably because usually this condition persists till 23-25 years of age (till growth spurt) which is a little late in certain boys.
Take care.
