Question : Hi few years back after having oral sex I had red spots in my penis area. It exits for a month and gone. Then I consulted a doctor and he took test for herpes and it was negative. But he asked me use accyclovir oinment. Then after a year I again found d same symptoms for a week. Then after one nd half year again. Now currently I don't see any rare spots but there is itching from time to time. Even if spots occur it goes in a day r two. This situation is lasting almost a year now.so Before 6 months I consulted another doctor and tests for herpes and HIV taken. Then he was sure dat it is not herpes r HIV. But he advised me to take zocon fluconazable tablet and oinment. I'm still using it now and still feeling itching some times and my penis area gets very much dry. I want to know wat could dis b? Is it OK to continue zocon ointment? What other test should I take to know what it is? I'm married before 3 months and would like to have a baby.. I'm having free sex only when im completly free from itching. And my wife still now don't have any itching problems. Wil usage of zocon tablet and oinment affect my sperm? I had sperm analysis done before marriage and its healthy.. Need help

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely fordyce spots. If you send a picture of lesion then it will be more helpful in identifying it.

Fordyce spots are harmless and it wont spread also. Change sweaty cloths in time. Accumulation of sweat and greasy appearance of skin can cause its occurence also. Using garlic more in your diet and antioxidants will be more helpful in getting rid off this. Local application of tretinoin cream is also helpful.

Thank u for ur reply. As I said before I had oral sex and within a week I got red spots in my penis and it was very much serious and itching was terrible.. Dis was before 4 years. Later wen I had spots it was light but had itching for a week. But now I get spots very rarely but itching is continous all d time. Dats why I wanted to know what kind of tests should I go for to find out wat is d problem.. And I didn't get my answer regarding trying for a baby did my wife.. As now i. Using zocon oinment wil dat affect sperm count? I couldn't send u a photo now bcoz currently I don't hv spots..

If you had done test for herpes- HSV1 and 2 ,then no need to do further tests. The itching and dryness you have is most likely due to irritation to some thing you use. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the genital area. Instead you can use warm water or saline. Hypo allergic soap like cetaphil also can be used. Antiseptics also should be avoided.

You can use some low-irritancy moisturizing cream. Creams like sorbolean also can be used. Use loose underwear. Use mild detergents for underwears. When you get severe itching antihistamines like levocetirizine will be effective. Zocon (fluconazole) can be used for 4 to 6 weeks. More than that is not needed.
