What Causes Red Bump With Ring Around It On Body?
Question: I had a mall red bump (1/4" diameter) that was red and now is skin color with a square ring around it comprised of 8 dots. What is that? There is no tic and no itching.

It is Folliculitis and needs treatment immediately. If I was your treating physician and you come to my clinic with folliculitis, I would have prescribed you with:
*Cephalexin
*Ibuprofen
It will help you get better in a week or so. If not treated it will get converted to a big abscess and will be damaging. Clean the wound with Pyodine antiseptic.
