Brief Answer:
Observe the rashes

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

I can understand your concern. Here you have mentioned that you have attached the image but I could not be able to find.

I request you to attach the image so that I better able to help you out.

I agree as the character of rash you have described is more like allergic, but other possibility should also be kept in mind .

It is not always possible to find out the agent which has caused the allergy.
I request you to observe for the course of rash whether it is improving or progressing rapidly.

Give her some antiallergic like CETIRIZINE for relief in itching and antipyretic like PARACETAMOL for fever.

The average weight of 2 year old child is about 12 kg and for this weight the dose of CETIRIZINE Syrup (each 5 ml contains 5 mg) will be 2.5 ml at bed time. CETIRIZINE may cause excessive sedation/drowsiness so please be careful for that and avoid overdosing.

The dose of PARACETAMOL would be 5-6 ml (each 5 ml contains 120 mg and dose is 10-15 mg/kg/dose).There is no serious side effect of PARACETAMOL if taken in appropriate doses.
I suggest you to get it prescribed by a physician.

The other possibility is some viral infection like chicken pox as it has started from the chest and associated with fever.

If rashes progress rapidly, there is any respiratory distress, fever persists or there is poor feeding consult your physician immediately.

I hope this helps.

Please let me know if you have any more query

Thanks and regards

Brief Answer:
More like allergic but needs close observation

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for follow up

I have gone through the image. It is a kind of erythematous macula papular rash more in favor of allergy. But sometimes rashes of chicken pox in its early stage may mimic like this.
So Please observe the rashes and general condition of the baby closely.
If you find the rashes are progressing rapidly, there is appearance of fluid filled or pus filled rash or general condition is getting deteriorated please consult your pediatrician immediately.
Wishing for your baby's speedy recovery.

Thanks and regards

Thank you for your prompt answer. They seem like to come and go. It seems that are more like litke spots than rashes. They went all over the body but then went away by themselfs. She has not other signs, appart being very hyperactive. Not fever nor dificulty in breathing. Anyway I have a question. What are the symptoms that can difference alergic reaction from chicken pox or other viral infectious? Thank you again.

Brief Answer:
possibility of chicken pox or other viral infection is very less

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back

In chicken pox rashes start from trunk and then gradually involve whole body except palms and soles within next few days.
Rashes are initially red and then fluid filled vesicles develop followed by rupture of vesicles and scab formation.
In other common viral infection rashes usually don't follow waxing and waning course.
So chance of infective rash is very unlikely.
Still I would suggest you to follow her as there is associated fever which is unusual in allergic rash.

Regards
