default
Posted on Sat, 23 Jan 2016
Question: Hi! So just a follow-up question regarding my right sided lower abdomen pain that ive had for the past few months on and off. Again, ive had an ultra sound and several exmas by a gynocologist and gastro doctor and they say im fine and its part of being a woman. They didnt find a need to repeat the colonsocpy which i had 7 yesrs ago and my stool rectal exam was all normal. I find that regarding this pain that when i bump into something it hurts and cramps more of after using the bathroom it cramps a bit and hurts. Can this be muscular?

Brief Answer:
IBS/ Visceral hypersensitivity. ..

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking.

You are reporting to have right abdominal pain on and off and all gastro and gynecologist exams results normal.
To my opinion your symptoms may be related with :
- IBS (irritabel bowel syndrome)
- visceral hipersensitivity that agravates after you bump on something.
- muscular damage ( rare)
Yes it could be muscular problem but cramps are mostly related with IBS and visceral hipersensitivity.

Meantime I suggest to controll stress and to use antispastic drugs like spasmex.
Try to keep a helathy diet and to avoid constipation.
Hope it was helpful to you!
