What Causes Round Reddish Circles On Inner Right Thigh?

default
Posted on Mon, 27 Jul 2015
Question: I've had two "roundish" reddish rings on my inner right thigh for at least a year. At first I thought it came from my pantyhose being too tight. They do not itch and are not scaly. Any idea what this could be?

Brief Answer:
It seems to be a erythema annulare centrifugum.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

Here,It might be difficult to diagnose your skin condition without a physical examination.

However, from the picture you uploaded, it may be a skin condition called Erythema annulare centrifugum.

It could be associated with some underlying diseases such as infections (fungal or viral) or candidiasis or tinea.

This skin lesion usually clears up by itself in most of cases and do not require any treatment.

However topical corticosteroids (tenovate cream) may be helpful in reducing this redness or swelling.

So,I would advise you to consult your dermatologist about this so that he would assess the condition and advise appropriate treatment.

Hope this will help you.
