Question: My husband just woke up about 20 minutes ago shivering violently. He says he doesn't feel cold. He does feel a little nauseous. He was feeling very tired and achy yesterday and stayed home from work. The shivering stops for a second or two then starts and escalates again. What should we do?
Thank you

Brief Answer:
What is his temperature!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this shivering that your husband has. I will suggest that you go ahead and measure his temperature and report to me. I will evaluate this and see if this can explain his symptoms. If we are unable to figure out the exact cause and he's not getting any better, I will encourage that he sees his primary care physician.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
